Since the age of 16, I have had the ambition to travel to 50 countries by the time I was 50. With that target (and age) swiftly approaching, I wanted to share my experiences with a broader audience. But I wanted to write with a certain theme – a hook that would guide my travels and my writing and (hopefully) keep readers keen for more.
Given that in my day job, having twice been a managing director and now coaching business leaders, I am fascinated by the enterprising world, I felt that probing global aspects of commerce might be the right route. And so The Commercial Traveller was born!
I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts. And get involved! I want to hear your opinions and experiences. Comment, share, disagree … It’s all going to make The Commercial Traveller a richer place to turn to whether looking for travel or business inspiration – or hopefully both.
May all your travels be profitable!
